"Right, we have to think like we're trying to punch through rock with him." Molly said, as she continued to type on the computer, maintaining the machines. Jack and Dare nodded in agreement, and Jack got another IV from the pump machine, going to stand at Zane's side. He took the IV and stuck it in Zane's chest, right at his heart.. Zane gave an unconscious hiss of pain as he shifted a bit, though the puncture was too small to kill him. Jack picked up the nail gun from the table, and turned to stand at Devon's side. He half reluctantly put the gun against Devon's chest where his heart was, and pulled the trigger, making the vampire snarl in unconscious pain as the nail punched through his hide, but the tip of the nail only just pierced the heart, so it wasn't enough to kill him either.

Jack then took the nail out, only to quickly put the IV tube in the hole, before it could heal over. "There, they're all set up." He said, before getting a siphon tube from the pump machine, and connected it to Devon securely. "Alright, fire it up Molly, Devon's ready.." He faintly frowned at those words, just because he wasn't the most comfortable with hurting even vampires. Molly typed some on the computer, and soon, the pump started up with a low hum. Devon groaned lightly as the tube's color creeped outward with the vampire's deep red blood, until it was all the same color. Jack felt the tube, and predictably, the blood was cold. He looked at Devon, and saw that he was slightly grimacing. His heart may not be beating anymore, but it still felt pain, and this only was reminding him of all the times that his blood was drained by fangs.

Molly then got up and walked over, pulling out an odd device, that she placed on Devon's chest. It gave a simply laid out reading of his blood level. It showed a half, and lowering, red gauge. She and Jack both glanced at the pump, seeing the left gauge slowly filling with Devon's blood. It was almost half full, and Devon was grimacing more, giving a low groan, almost as if he was now afriad.. Memories were coming back to his unconscious mind, and that was what actually scared him.. He hated the two primals who tortured him, but they actually still scared him. Jack gazed at the ailed vampire with a frown, almost feeling sorry for him, since he did use to be a Raver. "Hopefully he'll be better after this.."

"Me too." Jack agreed, before he looked at Dare, who was wisely covering the end of the IV in his arm to keep the blood from leaking out just yet. "Teh, I'm gonna have to do that too.." He looked over to Zane. "With him." Zane just laid as motionlessly as before, despite the siphon tube sticking out of his chest. "I wonder if he has any mental scars from the primals."

"Who knows, probably. But he doesn't seem like he was tortured the same way as Devon." Dare said, gazing at Zane curiously.

Molly shook her head. "Their torture ruined the bodies, Zane doesn't seem like he has any problems at all." She looked at the pump, seeing it almost full, and a glance to the blood level device showed less than a fourth left. It was also noticed that Devon was becoming more motionless than a vampire could actively get. Vampires couldn't die without any blood, they just went into suspended animation, but once Devon and Zane woke up after this, they'd have a mad bloodlust. "Jack, tell me when this gauge hits zero." She told the purple hedgehog as she turned to go back to the computer, leaving the blood level device on Devon's chest.

"Alright.." Jack gazed at the device, watching it steadily deplete. Within a minute, it was clear, empty. "He's empty." Molly nodded and typed a bit, making the pump's hum die away, turning off. Devon was now hibernating, since he had no blood in him, but he couldn't fully die that way. Jack then took the siphon tube off of the IV tube, and disconnected it from the pump machine, only to use a clean one, connecting that one to the right gauge. He put the bloody tube on the tray underneath the tank part of the machine, the part that held the blood, and took the clean siphon, only to connect it to the IV tube on Zane. He fastened it securely. "The one on Zane is ready to go."

Molly nodded again and typed some, making the pump start up again. Like Devon's siphon, Zane's blood was forced to creep out of his body, making the tube the same deep red, until it reached the pump, and started collecting in the right gauge. Apparently the gauges were separated. Jack grabbed the blood level device, and simply put it on Zane's chest. It lit up, and showed the little gauge. It was already almost half gone, since they caught him when he was hungry. Zane moaned a bit in pain as his blood left him, squirming as much as the restraints would let him, but he was slowly getting weaker.

"You're gonna have to jump in after me to help out Jessie, I'm gonna be knocked out too." Dare told the green Raver, who was leaning idly against the counter.

"Alright.." He still held his wrist, the pain refusing to cease, but the blood did. It was now clotted up, but bruised darkly. He then looked up as the door opened and the medical Raver from before came in. He looked curious of the machines, but looked to Jessie.

"They're all okay. Sasha was wavering dangerously, but we managed to keep her on the line. She'll make it now." The blue wolf announced, earning a relieved look to wash over Jessie.

"Thank God, I don't know what I'd do if I lost her.." He looked down, hoping she'd make it out okay.

"What about the other two?" Dare looked to the medical Raver in wonder.

"They're alright. We got the bites on their necks stitched up and covered, as well as the slashes. All they have to do is rest now, and they should be walking again in a few days." He smiled some. Dare gave a smirk in relief, and watched as the Raver turned to leave again, shutting the door.

"Damn, I almost can't believe Devon nearly killed them. But then, it's pretty obvious that he would too.."

"Yeah, but maybe he'll be different now." Jack mused, eyeing Devon distantly. He then looked to the blood level gauge, and saw that it was nearly gone, as well as noticed that Zane was as motionless as Devon, going into suspended animation. A few seconds later, and the gauge was clear. "Zane's done." He announced to Molly, who typed a bit, and the machine turned off, showing the right gauge a little over half full. "...?" He noticed something with Devon, and looked to see his body starting to change to a dull grey color. The color they turn when they're dying... ".. Molly, Devon's starting to die." She looked back, but just started typing again, booting the pump back up. Jack took the siphon tube off of Zane, and got another couple of clean ones, connecting it to the IV in Dare's arm, and pluggled that up to the machine, and then put the other one from the machine to Devon.

"It's like he wants to die.. But, maybe we can reform him." Dare mused.

"Yeah, it'll take a while, but if he can recover from all this, maybe we can help him out of this.. The way he's been.." He watched as the pump started taking the blood from Dare, pulling it easily to the machine, and soon transferring it to Devon. Dare watched his own blood leave him blankly.

"I wonder if it'll matter if they're getting injected with mortal blood.."

"Well, they were both Ravers."

"Yeah but, you're not exactly.."

".. You're right.." He looked to the side, wondering on that. Devon's body continued to slowly turn grey, despite the dried blood on him. He needed more to pull him away from death, and was only half the required amount. Dare had already lost a bit of blood from the attack, and was getting weaker now, as he started looking tired. Jack noticed. "Maybe you should lay down Dare, or you'll fall and hurt yourself."

"Teh, yeah.." He simply laid on the table lazily, keeping the siphon tube from being bent or clogged. He soon grew to the point that he was falling asleep, as his blood continued to siphon out of him, but at that point, Devon stopped turning grey, and started regaining the more healthy brown of his body. He was no longer dying. Jack then decided to take the mask off him, since being a vampire would kill the mortal blood in him anyway, so that wouldn't change him much. The only way he'd change was his thinking as a vampire. He would no longer think like a berzerk murderer, but instead a more sane immortal. That is, after a while of reforming. Seth had changed his opinion about vampires and had agreed to stop torturing them, as well as leave the innocent ones alone, so Devon would be rehabilitated the right way.

Jack took the blood level monitor, and went over to Dare, only to put the monitor on his chest. It read close to a quarter left, indicating that Dare was close to the edge. "Dare's near the edge Molly." He warned. Molly typed on her computer, and the pump turned off. Dare was now passed out, limp as the vampires, except he still breathed. "Jessie, you gotta help me out now."

Jessie stood up, as he had resorted to sitting on the floor, and walked over to the tables. Jack easily pulled the IV from Dare's arm, and Jessie picked him up, minding his wrist. He cringed at the pain of it, trying to fight through as he held the elite Raver up, gritting his teeth, but he managed to drag him to a chair, and set him down stably. Jack had already disconnected the siphon tubes from the machine, seeing that Devon was healthy enough again, and hooked Zane up with clean tubes. He turned back to Devon, and pulled the IV tube out of his chest, since he didn't need it there anymore, earning an unconscious moan of discomfort. That indicated that he was also out of hibernation.

"Jessie, you're gonna have to put the IV in my arm now." Jack said. Jessie nodded quietly, and walked over to him. He grabbed an IV tube, and carefully stuck it in Jack's arm, getting a slightly disturbed grunt as the tube slithered in his vein. Jack then went over and sat on the table Dare sat, and watched as Jessie plugged the siphon tube to his IV. "... I'm ready Molly." Molly nodded, and started typing on the computer, making the pump soon start up with its low hum. Jack's blood started creeping out of him through the tube, making Jack gulp lightly at the sight of his blood flowing out of him, and through the machine. The blood soon started going through the other tube and into Zane's body. Luckily Zane hadn't wanted to die as much as Devon, so his body didn't gain any grey hue through the wait. Jessie also watched the blood transferring to Zane, and felt the tube, how warm the blood was. And it was all going into a vampire.

Zane soon got over five pints back in him, and that was enough to bring him out of hibernation, though he continued to lay motionless, while Jack seemed to be holding up pretty good.

".. You know, if Zane chose on his own not to want to be with us, what if he just has the same choice after this? Just Eris has nothing more to do with it?" Jessie wondered.

"... I don't know then.. He's more potent as a vampire, so he wouldn't be so easy to stop.." Jack answered, blinking as the bloodloss started getting to him. He had under ten pints left, but he was still sitting up with a slouch.

"You doing okay Jack?" Molly asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. Getting tired though.." He looked over as Jessie approached him with the blood level monitor, and put it against his chest. It showed the gauge on there was half full. Jack just gave a bored sigh, watching his blood being siphoned again. It didn't seem like it was moving, since the walls of the tube were coated all the same color, but a few bubbles flowing forth showed that the blood was still moving. As Jack lost three more pints, he let out a low groan as he jerked downward as a sudden collapse, struggling to stay up. Jessie put his good arm against him.

"Maybe you should lay down now." He warned.

".. Maybe just stop now. Four pints is the borderline..." He sounded groggy, like someone who hadn't slept for days straight. Molly heard his voice, and typed on her computer some, making the pump stop the siphoning. Jessie held Jack up as he worked the siphon from the IV tube, enduring the pain of his borken wrist. He soon pulled the IV out, and tossed it on the undertray of the machine, before helping Jack up. Jack stood from the table, wobbly in exhaustion, and walked with Jessie back to his computer chair, and  slumped down. ".. I don't wanna do that again.."

Molly smirked at him. "Yeah, hopefully you won't have to." Jessie was looking at the two vampires thoughtfully.

"What are we gonna do about them though? They're gonna be hungry because of their low blood.." He walked over to them, still holding the blood level monitor, and put it on Devon's chest first. The gauge showed a bit under half full.

"We'll just feed them a few bloodpacks, and then we'll see how calm they are, before letting them go." Molly said, looking back at them. Zane was starting to wake up some. "... Jessie, take that IV tube out of Zane, he's waking up." Jessie blinked at Zane, before slipping the tube from his chest, earning a subconscious moan of discomfort. Zane started squirming, still restrained by the cuffs, as Jessie put the blood level monitor on his chest. The gauge showed over half full. Zane then opened his eyes wearily, now aware that he was strapped down on the steel table, and looked at Jessie.

Jessie saw the blood-red eyes on him, and looked back at Zane. "You alright Zane?" Zane just stared at him with a passive gaze, that soon turned into a scowl. Zane then suddenly lit his arms ablaze, making Jessie jerk back.

"I'm tied down and in a Raver base, what did you do to me?" His growling voice sounded menacingly angry, even though he no longer had primal blood in him. He gained his dark potency over the years.

"We freed you from Eris' control for one thing." He looked back at Jack and Molly, seeing their nervous gazes.

"Well I still want to kill all of you for this, so it seems it didn't work on me." He growled as he started tensing up, his fire getting hotter and spreading from his arms to covering his torso, and in seconds, his whole body was blazing blood-red flames exceeding 120º... He then started fighting the restraints, the steel of the cuffs sluggishly slowly weakening from the heat. It would only take short minutes for him to get free. Jessie backed away from him in fear. "You all will pay for what you've done to me, whether it was fairly harmless or not!" The cuffs slowly started bending as Zane's angry strength forced against them, his growling even rougher from the cuff around his neck pressing against it.

Jessie figured when Zane got free, the ones in the room were gonna be the first to kill, so he turned and picked up Dare, who was still knocked out. "Molly, help Jack out of here." She got up, despite the fearful shivering, and got Jack to his feet, before hurrying to the door. Jessie soon followed her, gritting his teeth at the pain of his wrist, while Zane continued to force against the cuffs, his body still ablaze at the exceeding temperature. The cuffs were now bent the direction he was pushing.

Outside the room, Molly and Jessie glanced around, spotting a few Ravers walking around, making them stop and look to them in wonder. "Don't go in there, and get ready for a very angry vampire.." Jessie warned as he handed Dare to one of them.

"What's going on in there?" Asked the Raver who took the elite wolf.

"Zane. He's awake and mad." He looked to Molly. "You think you could go back in and program the hydraulics to hold him down longer while we get ready?" She nodded shakily, and handed Jack to the Ravers too, before turning back into the room. Zane was still flaming, his claws dug into his palms from the strength as they clenched tensely. Molly hurried to her computer, ignoring that the room was over 20º hotter, and started typing quickly, programming the hydraulic arms to catch Zane once he broke free. There was a small camera monitor on the ceiling, and that was set to watch when Zane escaped from the restraints.

A sudden snap sounded as Zane broke one of the wrist cuffs, making Molly look back at him nervously. The temperature in the room only keept rising, now nearly 100º in there from the vampire who defied the weakness to fire, and instead, used it as his deadly power.. Molly punched in some more codes, as Zane busted the other wrist cuff off, and she took off with the programs set. Zane broke one of the arm cuffs with a jerk of his arm, and quickly shot a blazing fireball at her, which crashed into the door with a surprisingly loud "BANG!". Molly and the other Ravers jumped at the crash.

"What about Devon in there?" Jessie questioned.

"I'm not staying in there to try to help him out and risk myself getting incinerated or drained or ripped apart." Molly's voice sounded very scared as she pressed her back to the door, like someone who'd just ran from a vicious prison guard dog. A few more low snaps sounded from in the room, suggesting that Zane broke a few more cuffs. "We have to get out of here."

"Well Zane or not, we'll have to fight him." One of the Ravers said. "If he's doing this, we have to stop him, regardless if he's using fire."

"Like that's gonna be easy." Objected another female Raver.

"Let's just not be here when he busts out." Jessie announced, getting agreeing nods in return, and they all turned to go down the hall, letting Zane alone to vent his flames.

Zane now had his arms free, and worked his neck cuff apart, which was easier because of the scolding heat. He broke that off, before ripping the cuff on his belly off, also easier from the heat. He then sat up, and let his flames die down, as he started breaking the cuffs from his legs & ankles. He hardly noticed Devon stirring. Devon wearily opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling, and feeling the 110º temperature of the room. His eyes were still the sickly green and slit, but even in the light, they no longer glowed so ferally as they did. He looked down at the cuffs bounding him to the steel table, and started trying to break them. The heat was getting to him already. Zane looked over to him from his movements. ".. So you're awake too.."

Devon glanced at him. "... Zane...?" He still had the speech habit of talking animalistically.

Zane just looked back to his legs and resumed snapping the cuffs off. "I'll get you out of here too. These Ravers will pay for what they've done to us." He broke the cuffs from both his legs. His steel table was still searing hot from his fire, but since he used it, he didn't look bothered by the heat.

"... What... Did they... Do to us...?"

"Apparently they transfused our blood. So now we're out of Eris' control, and they thought giving us Raver blood would make us want to be back with them.." He scowled dangerously as he broke off one of the ankle cuffs.

"... So that's... What... I felt... They were... Draining... My blood..." He started sounding angrier now too, as he started struggling against his own cuffs. Unlike Zane, he didn't seem to be strong enough to break them without weakening them somehow. Zane got the last cuff off, and jumped off the table; however, the camera watched him get free, and the programmed hydraulic arms moved to capture him. Zane looked up at them, and jumped back before any touched him, but they just followed him, making him continue to strafe away. He lit his hands ablaze, and launched some fireballs at the arms, making them bang loudly as they crashed into them, as if the fireballs were flaming rocks. The fire did damage the arms effectively, as some were either slowing or just stopped, but he continued attacking them until they were all out of commission. With the strafe & fireballs, the hydraulic arms were soon all broken and hanging limply, sparks spitting from a few of them.

Zane walked over to Devon then, and just started getting the cuffs off. He was one who Devon wouldn't attack, even when he had the primal blood in him. Devon was also fairly calm as Zane got the restraints off. Zane was able to remove the cuffs easier because he'd found the button on the inside of them that made them open, so he pushed the button on them all, and soon, Devon was free too.

"... Did you... Have to... Make the room... So hot...?"

"Teh, not my fault fire affects the air that surrounds it. Let's just get out of here." He sneered, as Devon jumped off the table, retaining his predatory stance. They went over to the door, and busted through, welcomed with some startled Ravers. The Ravers didn't have time before they met the rapid & merciless rage of the two vampires, as they were instantly shredded in a bloody slaughter. The weapons couldn't go off, but a few painful cries did sound out; however, they were short. The two ripped the Ravers apart in seconds, Devon still not minding the layers upon layers of literally every blood type, and Zane also leaving the fresh dripping coat of blood on him for now. They both looked more like demons at this point. "What's say to the next ones we run into, we drain their blood?"

"... Yes... I'm quite... Parched..." Devon looked eager to kill. It seemed the idea that a blood transfusion would change their personas, was in vain. The only thing it did for sure was freed them from Eris' control over them, though that was dismissed for now. For now, they just wanted to destroy any Raver they saw in this cursed base. They started off down the hall, heading to the exit; a mad dash to get out, as they had holographic-like blurs streaking behind them. It wasn't long before they ran into a couple of Ravers, and simply tackled them, oviously not giving the Ravers time to prepare much, and punched their fangs into the Ravers' throats, Zane crushing the neck of his Raver, while Devon ripped a chunk of flesh out, spraying him with more blood, before he bit back on the neck and drained the blood at a quick rate.

Devon fed & attacked the Ravers like he despised them for keeping him for those twelve years. Of course all he saw for any mortal was a hateful hunger, but the Ravers really seemed to deserve his wrathful grudge. Zane just hated that the Ravers couldn't seem to understand that when he said no, he meant no, and wouldn't change his mind. As he said, becoming a vampire freed him from them, and he was negative about being with them as a mortal in the first place. They both were merciless as they attacked the Ravers, and once they drained their two dry, they discarded them like trash, and immediately carried on to the exit of the base. They didn't care to go after the Ravers, but those in their way would meet a dire & bloody fate.

Zane suddenly smirked darkly as he ran. "I almost feel as though I'm on a hunt."

"... Yes... As do I..." Devon agreed with a murderous tone in his voice. He continued to run with Zane, his deathly eyes soon catching another little group of Ravers ahead. The Ravers noticed them, and could only cry out in fear as the two jumped on them, only to crunch their throats. Devon held one in his jaws like a rag doll as he jumped on another one, and deeply slashed the chest, earning a yowl of pain, while Zane, having his jaws clamped on another Raver's neck, threw fireballs at another few Ravers, making them yell in pain. The two fed roughly from the Ravers as they kept the free ones helplessly down, more or less forcing them to watch as their comrads were killed... The whole group went down in short minutes, and like before, discarded like trashed.

Zane heard scuffling from behind, and turned in time to see a group of more Ravers there. "Fun.." He grinned evilly, Devon sharing his expression, as the Ravers drew their rifles, but the two charged like bullets. The Ravers fired at them, Devon not caring for the wounds he got, while Zane snarled at his wounds, but they both tackled the Ravers, and started tearing them apart, painting the walls with crimson blood. The Ravers cried out in pain as their bodies were destroyed, but one rifle then fired dangerously close to Zane's heart, making him yowl in pain. He quickly punched his claws through the Raver's chest, and ripped his heart out. Devon slashed the last Raver's throat, and growled heinously as he looked at Zane, seeing the bullet hole at his chest.

"... You weren't... Hit... At the heart... Were you...?"

".. I don't think so. I would be dead now if I was. That was close though.. Come on, before other groups catch us here." He turned and bolted off, followed by Devon, both dripping with blood, though they were able to keep their speeds despite the fact that blood, like any liquid, made the floor slippery. They managed to get a good distance, before running into more Ravers, who were taken off guard, and the two wasted no time in ramming into them, only to shred them apart, quickly coating the hall's walls with blood. They no longer had primal blood in them, yet ironically they were as murderous as ever, fueled by the mere hatred & rage towards the Ravers. The vain blood transfusion did nothing beneficial for the Ravers, besides proving to be a horrible idea. The two vampires finished off the Ravers, and quickly continued on, wasting no time to kill those in their way and find the exit.

They were close now, staying light on their feet, and neither were winded at all it seemed. Their wounds had healed over, both caked with blood. "What are you going to do once outside?" Zane wondered to Devon.

"... Find out... When to... Attack... Ashura... And Eris..." He said their names with deep disdain. "... What... About you...?"

".. I'm going to continue defending Cat, and Laura.. Now that Eris has no direct control over me, I won't have to obey when she tells me to stand down." He sounded almost like he approved of that one little benefit. But that still didn't lessen his anger to the Ravers for capturing him. He never did just allow himself to be subdued so easily. The two soon ran into some more Ravers, and caused startled glances, before they instantly shifted to terror as they two murderous vampires tackled them all down. Before long, a fresh coat of mortal blood painted the two and the walls. Through the excessive amounts of blood, the vampires could smell the scent of the outside, and which they finished off the Ravers quickly. "It's close, come on." Zane urged, as he bolted off to the front. Devon followed.

"... About time..." He snorted, as he was starting to grow bored with killing the Ravers here. Zane was too, but they continued on. Near the exit, they had a few more Ravers to get by. Zane went for a male and bit into the neck with a snarl, having come up from behind, getting a strident yowl of pain, which alerted the other ones there. Devon went after them, as Zane made the one he got his food. Zane held the Raver in front of him as a shield, while Devon's rock solid skin protected him more. A few tranqs were fired at Devon, but predictably unlike bullets, they did nothing, and the shooters quickly met the fanged jaws of Devon, followed by a grizzly death... The last of the Ravers in the two vampires' path were gone, and the two bolted to the exit, which was only a few corners away.

They soon made it to the outside, and bursted through the doors. They were met with nice cool twilight air, and open foresty just beyond the wall. The only thing was, they smelled just a few more Ravers just behind the wall, who showed themselves from the noise the door made upon being so forcefully opened. "Hmph, ready to get just a few more?" Zane asked Devon with a smirk.

"... But... Of course..." He grinned darkly, numerous bloody fangs bared. Zane ignited his hands with fire, as the Ravers pointed their rifles at the two blood painted vampires. The Ravers looked nervous, but suddenly jumped with yelps as Zane and Devon charged to attack, getting more bullet wounds on them, but luckily none shot too close to any major areas... In just a few short minutes, the two proved superior to the mortal hunters, and stood mono-colored the bloody red. They glanced at each other with uncanny fanged smirks, and bolted off into the night forest, neither very changed from as they were before...
Alrighty, well this is pt.2 sort of. Well, 2nd half, since like the first part said, it was too big. It was 65.5KB, when in the submission screen it said just over 63.. -.-; I hate how this thing looks like tax sales.. Oh well though.

Here's the 1st half. -> [link]

Yeah, Eris is going to destroy the Ravers.... and Eris does have a way to keep Devon from attacking them
