8. Seth

____________________
So, which one of these characters is your oldest idea out of them all?

Sheyd. He's my first character even created. Hence my DA username. His name was Shade originally, but I changed it for more originality than something so generic.

____________________
Which one is your newest?

Dante out of these guys. And he's my first snake character.

Select at least three of your characters, and write down their backstories, as brief or as long as you want.

Blackout-
He was created as the first and only werewolf on a pokemon planet called Zäkorai. His original form is a black and grey latios with red markings on his eyes and hands, royal blue eyes, and large fangs jutting down from his mouth. His mother was bitten by a mightyena that was in a way hacked with a sort of virus like energy that infected his egg inside of her stomach. He hatched shortly after his, in a way if you understand, half brother, Ashura. They grew dark from Ashura being born with a similar energy that Blackout's soul energy corresponded with, though Ashura was darker and Blackout followed him around without much questioning on anything in regards to wrong doings.
When they grew to almost teenage years, which took much longer than the mortals of their village, they were revealed as monsters and killers when caught preying on villagers. The two were separated and sent far from each other to the dangerous outlands of Zäkorai to survive on their own, banished from the village. Blackout searched for his brother for many years, never once catching his scent. When he started giving up on hoping he was even still alive, he met a small pack of mightyena, who took him in and helped him survive easier. He got along well with the pack, and after another number of years, he became their alpha. He learned how to shift into a mightyena form that was nearly as huge as a mamoswine, startling the pack needless to say, but he was a good leader to them. More years passed and he'd all but forgotten about Ashura, and then he suddenly felt something from somewhere far, and took off on his own, his hope to reunite with his half brother sparking again. He fought the obstacles of Zäkorai getting closer to the source of the pull, and soon found Ashura again. After they caught up with each other, Blackout showed Ashura his pack, quite relieving Ashura that he was living well on his own.
A mere few days later was when they sensed something grave happening and decided to investigate, finding that it was a monstrous battle between vicous looking pokemon, and a look in the sky appeared to show three huge masses of energy. The force of the energies was crushingly powerful in the area, so much so that the ground trembled as if by a fierce earthquake that wouldn't stop. Before the two could run away, one of the energies seemed to rip space and that sucked all the battlers into it like a black hole, including Ashura and Blackout... They were sent to various worlds at random, though in different dimensions as well as to appear in multiple worlds at the same time without disrupting the flow of time and space for individual dimensions and universes.

Dante-
As a child with his parents and siblings, he was born in a peaceful rainforest, though despite being secure, he did have to learn how to defend from predators. He wandered around freely with a few of his siblings, challenging them to things to show who was better at what as play. When he was playing one day, he detected something nearby and went to investigate, only to get swiftly caught up in a wire loop on a rod, handled by a mobian fox with a cat. He hissed in threat at them and snapped at them, but he couldn't reach, while the poachers seemed amused but still cautious, and took him away. He cried for his parents to save him, which they sped to catch up to him, but they lost him to the vehicle that drove away faster than they could slither. Dante was both angry and scared of the two as he was put in a cage, confused why they stole him from his family, but he knew better than to try talking to them. The car drove to another city far from his home forest and stopped at a museum. The poachers took him inside and sold him to the caretaker, who placed him in a warm tank overgrown with plant life. It would have been almost homey if he wasn't so insecure and scared.
Dante searched for any way out all the while he was there, until his tank was moved and he was revealed to another much more open room, though it was dark and empty, but there were other tanks surrounding his, which only raised his fear, but also curiosity. He noticed the movers messing with one of the side walls and it slid up, but the tank was then quickly sealed against another tank with a clear swiss holed wall. On the other side appeared to be a similar portioned environment to his, but the air felt colder in there from the small holes, which weren't big enough to effect Dante's tank. He soon noticed that all of the tanks held rare looking mobian animals in them, species that obviously existed, but rare types, such as hybrids and hard to find animals. When time came for the museum to open, Dante awoke to many people looking in at him in wonder, other mobians, but for some reason they acted like he was from another planet. He hissed at them as he coiled up, getting them to back away, but they kept watching him. His attention was distracted by the tank he was sealed to, which was from a green hedgegarter who called to him. Dante thought he was a highly rare creature, a naga, at first, but had heard from the hedgegarter that he wasn't a naga, just a simple hedgehog garter snake hybrid. The two started talking with both unease and curiosity, after all they were both children, and distracted themselves from the onlookers while slowly learning about each other.
Dante had lived in his same tank for a few years, growing to be far larger than he should have, close to 40ft long. He'd gotten used to being watched by people everyday, but they also annoyed him a lot as well, which was his first reason to start getting stronger, leading to some of the small trees in his tank to bare constriction marks, even though he wasn't a constrictor. One night, the night worker, who'd actually managed to gain Dante's trust, accidentally forgot to lock shut the gate covering the top of the tank, which Dante noticed. He waited until the night worker was gone and moved to climb up on a tree and work it open. When he got it, he slid it open and slithered out, going to head to the front doors, but glanced back to his friend, Ceryl. The green hedgegarter watched him with a mix of readable looks; curiosity, happy he got free, and a little sorrow that he might leave him there. Dante stared back at him for a minute in thought, and then decided to help him get out as well, since Ceryl wanted to know the outside world for years. Dante turned back and scaled the tank, only to work at the locked gate and opened it, helping Ceryl out. It was the first time he noticed that Ceryl was rather cold. Ceryl knew most snakes ate others if they were warm bodied, so he knew a little ability to drop his body temperature. Dante helped him out nonetheless, and they both managed to escape the museum, taking in the outside air for the first time in years, before swiftly moving to the backways.
News quickly warned the city of a dangerous cobra escapee along with a hedgegarter, so the cops were on the lookout for Dante and his friend. Dante found he was a surprisingly skilled hunter considering he was in captivity for most of his life, but he had the instincts almost fresh in his mind. He would prey on some wandering people, anything that was warm bodied and made a bulge or even two in his belly, and being a snake, he was a slippery one for the pursuers to keep up with. Ceryl on the other hand wouldn't eat people, only animals such as cats and small dogs and such, considering he was about 1/3 Dante's size, and generally harmless compared to a cobra. Dante seemed to grow noticeably darker from learning that killing people was bad, but him being a predator just trying to live, he didn't heed the crime tolls, and killed many in the city with fast increasing skill. His kills were swift, silent, and furtive, which unsettled the people as to who was killing them. Dante was still at large as far as they knew, but other serial killers were suspects too, since they thought cobras didn't usually go near people unless by accident, and they certaintly didn't fancy cities. Dante was soon starting to get bad with hunting though, slinking into homes and public places and making kills there, which in his favor got people wondering if it was some other creature, since snakes weren't evil, they were just animals looking for food. They didn't think Dante would be the one doing that. They thought he'd already retreated to the forest, since his kills were so quiet; however, some places had security cameras that caught him slithering around, so that got his red alert raised again. He lasted a long while slinking away from any who would capture him and imprison him back at the museum, all the while with his friend Ceryl, who Dante always wondered why he was so cold and able to function as a snake. He wasn't cold enough to him to try to get away from Ceryl, but he was discouraged from seeing him as prey anytime he was hungry and Ceryl was technically edible. Ceryl had finally had enough of city scrounging and convinced Dante to retreat to the forest, where they stayed for the rest of their time.

Jagger-
Born in a Raver base like all the other Ravers, he was expected to turn out like they all were. He did so, but early on he realized that a lot of the pack was rather skittish of hunting vampires, ever since Seth took over leadership and they started lagging in their skills. Jagger, in childish ignorance, saw the skittish ones as weak, even telling them himself that they were better before Seth took over, not that his opinion really made much of a difference. He was only between 10 and 13 at the time. When he went out to play with the few friends he made from the base, they would rough house like all the pups did, though one night they wandered out of sight from the adults and played alone in the forest surrounding them. Until they realized they were alone, and they felt something nearby. Only Jagger, his closer friend among the group, Lance, and his closest brother from that base, Zane, seemed to be more curious than nervous, while the other two huddled together. They soon met a vampire standing over them who was obviously looking at them as prey.
He attacked the pups, having slight trouble even catching one of them, as they kept scattering, though he managed to capture Lance and started to feed from him. Jagger, being more bold than all four of the others, attacked the vampire to try to save his friend. The vampire didn't let go and took his attacks in stride. That was until Jagger jumped on his back and managed to claw his eyes, making the vampire shriek and release Lance, who was just barely alive enough to live if helped quickly. The vampire attacked Jagger using his hearing, since his eyes were damaged, though Jagger was making it difficult, making sure the others stayed out of the vampire's way. He was caught in the vampire's claws however when he grew weary of dodging and struggled furiously with kidish growling. The vampire didn't heed him and tried to bite him, only for Jagger to kick him in the throat, making the vampire cough in surprise. Jagger took the pause to start frantically slashing at his neck with his sharp claws, managing to sever the vampire's jugular. The vampire cried out in pain and dropped him, before fleeing to save himself. Most vampires didn't want struggling prey, and Jagger was fighting too much for his liking. Jagger panted in fear, both for himself that he was too close to being killed, and for his friend. He ran back to the group of pups and scanned over Lance in worry, before picking him up with help from Zane, and they ran back to the base, shaken.
Lance was healed up intensively, while the other four were scolded for wandering off and nearly being killed, though Jagger seemed to brush off the scolding. Sure he was scared, but he still chased off a vampire without one casualty, which he boasted regardless what the adults retorted at him. Jagger thought of himself as one of the better fighters if he could fend off a hungry vampire at only 14 years old. The other Ravers chalked it up to a fluke, the vampire being weak and young. Jagger didn't care what they thought, as he continued to train his strengths and agilities. As he grew more and got stronger, and more bold yet, he was an active hunter who, scarily, almost took delight in hurting vampires when he was one-on-one with them and he survived with only a few wounds. Lance remained his only real friend in the base, as the others had gotten a bit daunted of him, but Lance stayed at his side. He was more or less Jagger's only weight to keep grounded and in mind that he couldn't get careless and ruthless, lest he turned into a bully and he'd be punished for poor respect qualities. He also looked to Zane for advice when he encountered certain things he didn't know as much, when Zane did. Zane was another weight to keep him grounded, such as following him when he was starting to get a little too mean or boastful. Zane was more level-headed, whereas Lance was more simply wise, and Jagger couldn't keep up his badass facade for too long around them, since it wasn't encouraged.
A couple years passed while Jagger kept manageable, but one night when he heard that Zane was captured by a vampire and converted into one himself, which meant he was killed in the process, Jagger fell into a hole of sorrow, one that even Lance couldn't help him out of. It was mainly anger masking his sorrow at losing his brother. He would only so much as yell out at Lance, but physical abuse was done to walls and pillows among other inanimate objects. Hurting his friend would only make him feel worse about the situation, since that would put another one he cared for in harm's way, and he had a heart not to let himself be the one to harm his only remaining weight. The loss though made Jagger more gripping of his possessions, and he promised himself he wouldn't let Lance succumb to danger that would take him from Jagger too...

Select at least three of your characters (they can be the same ones as before, if you like) and say what your favorite thing about them is.

Blackout- He's just awesome. :/ He has a huge 7.5 ft tall werewolf form that is a mightyena and he's a quite versatile character.
Dante- My first snake character and he's already got an interesting background. Plus, who doesn't like cobras?
Jagger: One of my most dark neutral characters I find. He doesn't really care about anything that doesn't concern him and he's not afraid to voice his opinion, even when he was a kid. Just generally one of those likable bad guys.

____________________
Select at least three of your characters (again, they can be the same as before, if you really want to use the same ones) and say what your least favorite thing about these three is.

Blackout- Hmm, I guess the only thing I don't like about Blackout is he can't talk in his werewolf form, but isn't that kind of a given?
Dante- Um... Nothing I can think of that I don't like about Dante.
Jagger- Can't really think of anything distasteful here either. He's meant to be a bad guy, so anything to be typically disliked is a given, though nothing that I would change about him to alter his persona.

____________________
Select at least three more. Name at least one odd trait of theirs, for each of them.

Meaning add on to the three above? Okay, I'll include Seth, Sleyr, and Torn.
Blackout- Being a werewolf, he tends to act half like a wolf while in his sentient form, which can be pretty odd or funny in some situations.
Dante- Hmm... He acts more like a normal snake than a sentient being? Can't really think of one for him.
Jagger- He's like a mirror in a way, reflecting what reactions he recieves.
Seth- More of an unnerving trait than odd is he held a ruthless grudge to vampires for being tortured and traumatized for 10 years by them when he was a pup, so he captured any and almost all he encountered and tortured them as his revenge.
Sleyr- Despite being the founder of immortal hunters, he tries to loosen up about his job and plays video games and whatnot when at home, trying to be casual and not get too absorbed into hunting.
Torn- His sexual preference is indescriminant, so he doesn't care really what he, ahem, intercourses with, as long as it's alive and big enough. I suppose that's the only odd thing about him. He is the prince of darkness after all. :/

Get your whole list of characters together for this. Give each of them theme songs. If their song has lyrics to it, then write down a line or two of it as well, if possible. If you can't think of theme songs for all of them, that's fine.

I don't really feel like adding lyrics, but if people know of these songs and understand the characters, you can see why it's their songs.

Blackout- Of Wolf And Man-Metallica
Dante- N/A
Dodge- Until The End-Breaking Benjamin
Jagger- N/A
Oracion- Breakdown-Seether (pretty much my song too, as she was suppose to be a mobian version of me :/)
Rorek- N/A
Saber- Motherfucker of the Year-Motley Crue
Seth- No More Sorrow-Linkin Park
Sheyd- Run-Disturbed
Sleyr- N/A
Torn- Prince Of Darkness-Megadeth
Zane- Just Like You-TDG

____________________
Do any of your characters have a catch phrase? If so, list them and their catch phrase.

I don't really have a thing for catch phrases. >_> They can be funny or cool for other people, but I can't really stick to saying something repeatedly, so none of my characters have one either.

____________________
If five of your characters entered reality, which five would you prefer the most?

Dodge, Oracion, Rorek, Sleyr, and Zane. They'd be the safest out of these twelve. ._.

____________________
Which one of those five would like you the most?

Hmm... Probably Dodge. He'd be the nicest one. >.>

____________________
Which of them would like you the least?

Mmm, I'm kind of at a tie between Rorek and Zane...

____________________
Pick two of your characters who know each other, if possible. What are their opinions of each other?

Dodge and Jagger. Dodge wishes Jagger was dead, and Jagger thinks it fun to morbidly mess with Dodge and his mate, Rose. >_>

____________________
Pick two characters that don't know each other. THEY DO NOW. What are their opinions of each other?

Dante and Zane. Dante is pretty curious of Zane, and Zane is wary of him.

____________________
Pick a character from your list. He's/she's trying to run for president/prime minister/some random government position. Would anybody vote for him/her? Why or why not?

Sleyr would probably be the one to do that. And I think the others would be alright with it. Well, except for Saber, Sheyd, and Torn. >_>

Aaand, we are done here. Now go do something productive.

Okay~ I'll tag :iconla-morgana::icontipsyra1d3n: and :iconhayabusaspartan:, and I'll go get something to drink. :U
